Universal Theme:
1. Death, while highly feared in society, does not make one fear death or suicide itself . Hamlet appears as a young and smart fellow, but after his dad's death, he become someone different and acts crazy around everyone. The death of his father caused Hamlet to go AWOL and try to kill his father's killer to get revenge, which is Claudius, the present king of Denmark at the moment. The death of his father caused this reaction and the thirst for revenge.
2. Suicide, is one of the themes in Hamlet by deciding whether to live a dreadful life or to end his life and end his sadness. Hamlet trapped himself in a horrible situation where his father died because of his uncle. He then has a soliloquy "To be or not to be" by showing his true sorrow and his view on death and suicide and his beliefs that he will go to hell if he commits suicide. 3. Friendships, was view in Hamlet as a good thing to have some trusted individuals like Horatio and also some viewed as bad relationship just like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to get information from Hamlet to see the reason why he is crazy and to get back information to the king. The main set up in the book Hamlet, shows us that friendship is needed but, keep your friends close and enemies closer. 4, Love, while highly viewed in society, many tend to literally kill to be with someone. As seen in the book hamlet, we see that the King's brother killed the King to get with the Queen Gertrude. This shows the extend of how humans could go beyond the boundaries to accomplish something they truly desire. |

This is satirical because it shows the King kneeling, but as Hamlet gets closer he then walks away and saying that he will kill him some other time. This was funny because, it the past play he say to himself that "thus conscience does make cowards of us all", so then this really turned on him and pointing that he is now a coward,

In this study, Kierman Ryan shows us of how Hamlet's act of hate and desire changes him through the whole book. In humans we see that once we desire something we don't back away, such as a thematic statement like love we tend to do anything to get something out of it. In Hamlet's story we see that revenge for his father is all he wants but, the stumbles and falls a few times during the play, we see him stop himself during the best time to kill Claudius because his conscious tells him that it is not a good idea because he is prating and he doesn't want him to end up in jail due to him killing his father. In our lives we see the same thing we tend to stop each other from doing horrible decisions and this is where we link to Hamlet by trying to understand where he is coming from.

In this song "Crazy" by Gnals Barkley explains how he is crazy and how others around him are crazy because they think they are in control. He laughs of how many think they are in control of him because, he knows darn well they are playing him, he is not dumb. In the book Hamlet by William Shakespeare, Hamlet acts crazy to make everyone think he is insane because of his father's death. Many like Claudius, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern try to get information of why he is acting this way. Hamlet is smart by knowing that Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, Hamlet's old friends, are only here to get information. Hamlet calls them out on this action but they don't know what he is talking about because, they are necessarily the smartest, but he calls them crazy, which this song fits perfectly of how he calls them crazy and how he is also crazy.
